I'm actually a very friendly person and usually enjoy speaking with retail staff but I was very unhappy with this experience and will be sending my future orders to the Vero Beach location for pick up. They were always nice. Side note, I asked for a fitting but was forgotten about by a different staff person.
- BBBarbieApr 30, 20261.0I visited the Lane Bryant at The Avenue Viera on 4/29/26 around 2 p.m to pick up an order, and my experience started off very disappointing. When I walked in, there were two associates at the front. One was on the phone, which I understand—but neither of them acknowledged me at all. No greeting, no “we’ll be right with you,” nothing. I stood there for a while feeling completely ignored. What made it more frustrating was seeing other customers acknowledged right away while I was still waiting. First impressions matter, and that initial interaction set a negative tone. I eventually had to walk through the store and find another associate myself. I believe her name was Betty. She was in the back working, but as soon as I approached her, she immediately stopped what she was doing and helped me without hesitation. She was kind, professional, and completely turned the situation around. Because of her, I even made an additional purchase. While I truly appreciate Betty’s excellent service, the lack of basic acknowledgment at the front makes me hesitant to return or recommend this location.
