  I am writing this review from my mom’s account. If I could give zero stars, I would. I was advised by a coworker that J.Crew had opened at Lakeside Village and that they were running a good sale. I attempted to visit around 8:00 PM one evening and found the store already closed. I returned late the next morning/early afternoon and was appalled by the customer service I received. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted by the young woman at the front. However, customers who entered behind me were greeted and informed of current promotions. I took note of this and continued shopping. While on the sales floor, a gentleman made eye contact with me multiple times, but I had no idea he was an employee until I later saw him speaking with the associate at the front. When I was ready to try on clothing, no one was stationed near the fitting rooms, so I approached both employees and asked if someone could assist me. The gentleman walked me to the fitting room and told me I could go in. I mentioned that had someone greeted or spoken to me earlier, I would have known that the fitting rooms were self-serve. When I finished and went to check out, another associate was already available to ring me up, yet the young woman from the front rushed over and insisted on taking me instead, which I found odd. During checkout, she offered to have me enter my email and apply for a store credit card, both of which I declined. It was frustrating that only at the point of checkout did I receive any level of attentiveness or “customer service.” After leaving the store, I called to voice my concerns and am confident the person who answered was the same associate and also the manager. Needless to say, with customer service like this, this store will not last long. I am from New Jersey, and the J.Crew locations I am familiar with would not tolerate this type of service. I am extremely disappointed with the experience and with the behavior of not just one, but two employees.

  Staff is so kind ! Ana help me pick out a whole wardrobe.. also helped me save an additional 20% with the jcrew card (which i had no idea about) Ana thank you for your your patience with me literally was there for almost hour saying yes to everything haha I'll be back soon

  J.Crew Factory is a fantastic addition to the Lakeside Village area! J.Crew is typically a very expensive clothing store, so having the factory version is so nice because you can find some really good deals. Of course, there are still things that are pricey, but with sales prices in play you can definitely get a better bargain or some of the items at more normal/ reasonable prices. They have a good variety of stuff here too- women’s, men’s & children’s clothing. I’m excited to see the variety of options as the seasons go on- they had fun and colorful summer styles out, but then once the fall collection & winter clothes come around will be nice too. There are plenty of fitting rooms to try things on, but no restrooms. They have a small selection of accessories like socks, jewelry, belts, etc. If you are a healthcare worker you can also get an extra 15% off your purchase!
