  Discovery Trading Company – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Discovery Trading Company is one of the standout shopping spots at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Located right at the park entrance, this spacious store offers an excellent selection of Disney merchandise, Animal Kingdom–themed apparel, souvenirs, pins, plush, and unique gifts you won’t easily find elsewhere in the park. The store is well organized and easy to browse, with something for every age and budget. The theming fits perfectly with the park’s adventurous, nature-inspired atmosphere, making the shopping experience feel immersive rather than rushed. Cast Members are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you’re picking up a souvenir on your way out or browsing for exclusive Animal Kingdom items, Discovery Trading Company is a must-stop. It’s a great place to find memorable keepsakes that capture the spirit of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. 🦒🌿

  The staff here is extremely rude and unwelcoming. I asked a lady standing at the front about a merch item I was looking for and was given no response and basically shooed away. Then when I paid for a different item than the one I was looking for the next employee I encountered was just as unfriendly. Really unfortunate and disappointing experience.

  Tucked right into the heart of Discovery Island, the charming Discovery Trading Company is the kind of store you don't plan to spend much time in, and then somehow end up browsing for twenty minutes. It's Disney's main gift shop inside Animal Kingdom, and it has that perfect mix of air conditioning, themed décor, and "ooh, I might need that" souvenirs that make it impossible to walk past. It goes without saying that you need to bring money! The prices on Disney souvenirs has skyrocketed as of late. I'm still shocked about Mickey ears costing close to $40! The atmosphere fits right in with the park's adventurous vibe. The shop has rustic wood accents, tribal patterns, and a touch of explorer flair (I just love the decor in here). It's bright, open, and feels like an organic extension of Animal Kingdom rather than just another retail shop. As for what you'll find, the shop's got a little bit of everything. Plushes, pins, apparel, pens, toys, hats, packaged candy, stickers, sundries, and other goodies are in plentiful supply. You'll spot plenty of Animal Kingdom-themed gear, like shirts featuring the Tree of Life, fun Mickey ear safari hats, and wildlife-inspired accessories. I like this store because it's sort of like Animal Kingdom's Emporium (if you know, you know). I like to say if you can't find it here, you don't need it. Oh! And they offer a pretty generous 20% off discount for Annual Passholders. So be sure to flash your pass if you have one.

  Tienda temática de souvenirs, ropa y mercancía en general. Muy bonita decoración interior. Vende variedad interesante de productos con el tema de Animal kingdom. El personal es amable y servicial. Una de mis tiendas favoritas.
