  Discovery Trading Company – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Discovery Trading Company is one of the standout shopping spots at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Located right at the park entrance, this spacious store offers an excellent selection of Disney merchandise, Animal Kingdom–themed apparel, souvenirs, pins, plush, and unique gifts you won’t easily find elsewhere in the park. The store is well organized and easy to browse, with something for every age and budget. The theming fits perfectly with the park’s adventurous, nature-inspired atmosphere, making the shopping experience feel immersive rather than rushed. Cast Members are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you’re picking up a souvenir on your way out or browsing for exclusive Animal Kingdom items, Discovery Trading Company is a must-stop. It’s a great place to find memorable keepsakes that capture the spirit of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. 🦒🌿

  I went to purchase an item that had two price tags. I asked the asked the cashier to honor the lower listed price, who only called the manager to do a price adjust after arguing about the listed price and seemed quite annoyed that we would expect them to honor the lower price. The manager came to adjusted the price claiming to honor the lower price. Upon further examination of the receipt, after the purchase, we found the manager misled us about the price adjustment, and we actually paid the higher price. So, if you have a price dispute, be SURE the manager is being honest with you about the changes they are making.

  One of the main merchandise locations as you enter / exit through the main path in Animal Kingdom. They have all the park merch and it's a great space to grab a souvenir before you head out for the day, especially since it's on your way out anyways. With COVID Disney is not offering the option to have you packages delivered to the front of the park for you to grab as you leave, so this is the next best thing. Plushies, logo'ed merch and most items you can find throughout the park, can be found here. You get a passholder discount on all items here if you have a pass. Staff is very friendly and helpful and there are a couple of different register bays for checkout, so it's easy to get in and out if you're in a hurry. Overall: A Good spot to get a gift or souvenir on your way out of the park!
