  Never even made it to the store. Called to ask a question, They were so rude on the phone !!!! Not wasting my time or money going there.

  I’d shop elsewhere. I ordered the gun I wanted online. Made an appointment for picking it up. Associate told me they don’t follow online appointments so there was no point making one. Short staffed and staff look lost. Too much going on and it delays the purchase process. Drove a good distance but will shop local from now on.

  No military discount for firearms at the store according to the gun department manager named Angel, but only online for non sale items according to the telephone customer service employee. I found out the whole scheme is BS. I went to the store to view the gun I wanted to check the quality before purchasing it and ended buying. Then after the background check was done, the manager for the gun section, Angel, told me to go to the cash register to pay and I reminded him for the military discount after showing him my ID. He scanned a special barcode under at the cash register and in the cash register machine screen showed military discount 0%. I pointed out that 0% for military discount was not what I expected. Angel replied, “computers won’t lie.” He didn’t do an override to adjust the price with the military discount. I ended paying for just the sale price without a military discount. I went home and I logged in the SW website and place the same model gun I just purchased at the store in the SW website shopping cart and it showed the military discount. I called SW customer service and explained the store military discount situation and asked why I was able to get the discount online but not at the store. The customer service employee who appeared to be confused decide to call the store. She called and spoke with Angel who confirmed that I did not get a military discount. Then the customer service representative told me that I don’t get a military discount for an item on sale. I replied, “that is not what it shows if I buy the gun online”. The female said, “that if I paid for the gun online even showing the military discount, at the time of making the payment the discount wouldn’t apply”. I said that I will try to confirm and she hung up. I tried, and found out that I can purchase a gun on sale, online, with a military discount. She lied to me, I noticed that she sounded insecure over the phone. I was upset and I decided to go back to the store to discuss the situation with the manager Angel or someone above him. I arrived to the store parking lot and an employee who is a military veteran, who was outside taking a break asked me if there was something wrong. I explained the situation, that employee also confirmed about the military discount at the store prior the purchase and he called the manager to meet me at the gun desk and he assured me that they will make things right. Inside the store I met with Angel and the store assistant manager Keith who made things right but at my extra expense told me to purchase something else to apply a discount. I had to ask if only the military discount like it supposed to be from the beginning. Keith said the military plus the amount of the previous gun purchase military discount that was not applied from the beginning. I asked for a gift card and they denied my request. I decided to purchase another gun but I really didn’t want it. So, I decided for a gun that was also on sale online with the military discount showing up in the shopping cart at the online checkout. Keith agreed to the price I calculated. I had to make a calculation because I didn’t trust Angel who was giving Keith different prices and making the final price more expensive and the purchase more frustrating. So, I showed the numbers from the SW website with the sale price, military discount and the other discount from the previous purchase. Finally, Keith made the correct decision to use the sale price online with the military discount plus the other discount amount from the previous gun purchase that the military discount was denied. Again, the bar code for the military discount didn’t work. I assumed they have a bad military discount barcode or they don’t want to give military discounts at the store because they earn more money in commissions or bonuses as Angel bragged saying he receives bonuses as a salary working for SW during a short conversation while waiting for my background check. Anyway, Keith did an override and adjusted the price.

  Had ro do a return was to small. Would if gave a 5 but Peggy made me stand there while she complained and re taped the box before she did my refund. Refund and re tap afterwards.

  The store is constantly shortstaffed, I was there yesterday three associates behind the counter selling guns. I had a general question about something back there and I was told.” If you’re not buying a gun, we don’t have time to answer questions” Mind you three associates two people buying guns one person straight lazy. Guess if you’re not buying a big ticket item you’re not allowed to get help and let’s not even talk about the guy that registered. It always thinks everything is a damn joke while you’re there.!
