Went into the store today to buy a pair of meta Ray-Ban glasses when the associate would not help. Just point it and said there they are when asking questions. The one gentleman did not want to help me do anything. I would not shop here

Tina and her staff were absolutely amazing at sunglass hut in St. John’s town center. I had an issue with a pair of costa sunglasses and her Alex and Mia went above and beyond to help resolve the issue and saved me weeks from waiting on costa’s warranty. Would highly recommend them and we are customers for life at this sunglass hut location.

Came into the store in October to do the Meta display glasses demo. The guy that met with me was great and the appointment was great. I told him i travel a lot for work and can only be back in town intermittently. He told me "Oh we have out of town customers all the time. Once we receive your glasses, they're dedicated to you and we hold them until you can come back to get them. If you need them shipped to you, we can do that too once they arrive. It shouldn't be more than a month before we receive them". I bought a pair of the new vanguard meta glasses and that was the end of the interaction that day
I followed up with the store multiple times over the next 8 weeks with no luck in them having the glasses that were promised in "a few weeks"...
On December 18th, i received a call saying my glasses were ready. I told the lady on the phone that id be in on Christmas eve to pick them up. She told me "Oh we cant hold them for you for that long", which is completely contradictory to another employees info... I asked her if I can pay right away and she can ship them to me, I got the same response of "oh we dont do that".... So far, thats 2 complete lies by either her or the guy who gave me the demo.... She then ended the call with "we'll be receiving another shipment by end of the week and we'll call you tomorrow"... Well 5 days later now and no phone call, no information, and now 3 lies by employees at this store.... How a store can run off lies, distrust, and customer dissatisfaction is crazy to me. With a world of ENDLESS choices, customer retention should be first priority!
