  My wife was searching to find her "next favorite jeans". We were unaware if Madewell jeans, but when visiting the store, we were impressed with variety of types/styles/fit. We took our time and she tried on many options. After many attempts, she was unable to find what she was looking for and decided to try another day. If that was the end of the story, there would be no headlines. But, It was then I went to the manager and asked if it was their policy to not only ignor, but actively avoid assisting customers that were obviously there for approx. 30 minutes. The manager fell over herself apologizing, and offering assistance and future discounts. At the prices they are asking, no retailer can expect customers to accept this level of service.

  Worst experience I’ve ever had at a retail store. I bought an item and the cashier gave me the wrong product, but still charged me for the one I actually wanted. I had to waste my time driving back and forth just to get their mistake fixed. Completely unacceptable. I will never shop here again.

  The ladies that helped me on Friday night were incredible! I wish I had asked their names. They helped me figure out a size for a product they didn’t have in store so I could order online and just chatted and made me feel so welcomed. I don’t shop in store much anymore, but they definitely made it a wonderful experience and made me want to go back!
