I had scheduled a pickup for 5:30 PM on 11/29, based on the store hours listed on my order, which showed they closed at 6 PM. However, the store called to tell me they were actually closing at 5 PM. I explained that I was more than 30 minutes away at work and couldn’t get there any earlier, especially since it was my mom’s 67th birthday. They suggested I pick it up on Sunday instead, even though I told them that would be difficult. We eventually agreed on a specific time for Sunday, but that morning they called again to say they were leaving early and closing the store. When I finally did pick up the arrangement, the fruit was obviously spoiled. Berries had holes in them, the pieces looked warped, and everything tasted sour. I contacted the store that same day and also completed the survey to report the issue, requesting a full refund through corporate, but I have received no response. No one has replied to any of my messages or attempted to contact me regarding this matter. I also disputed the transaction with my bank, but the claim was denied. Given the circumstances, I am now demanding a full refund immediately. I am extremely disappointed in this company and the way this entire situation has been handled.

To make matters worse, when the store called my mother-in-law on her birthday, they were extremely rude to her. They were also rude to me, the person who actually placed and paid for the order. The so-called “manager,” Val, was by far the worst — openly rude and unprofessional, and even said that he “didn’t care.” Completely unacceptable behavior, especially for a company that claims to specialize in gifts for special occasions. I contacted customer service two weeks ago to cancel the order and request a refund, and they only started processing it this past Monday. This experience ruined what was supposed to be a birthday surprise. I will never order from Edible Arrangements again and do not recommend them to anyone.
