  Misleading Return Policy and Poor Customer Service I had a very disappointing experience with Nordstrom regarding both their return policy and in-store customer service. I attempted to return an item that was purchased through their website, relying on the publicly stated return policy, which emphasizes flexibility and no time limits for returns or exchanges. However, I was later informed that because the item was sold by a third-party seller, it was subject to a 30-day return window. This limitation is not clearly or prominently disclosed within the main Returns & Exchanges policy, which creates a misleading expectation for customers. As an international customer currently residing in Spain, I had the item shipped to a U.S. address for a future visit, based on the understanding that Nordstrom’s standard return flexibility would apply. Had the third-party restriction been clearly communicated, I would not have made the purchase. In addition to the policy issue, the in-store experience at Nordstrom Town Center at Boca Raton was unprofessional. The sales associate was dismissive and spoke to me in a condescending manner when I attempted to process the return. Customer service acknowledged both the lack of clarity in policy presentation and the inappropriate in-store interaction, but no resolution or goodwill gesture was offered. Overall, the experience reflected a lack of transparency in policy communication and a failure to address a service issue appropriately. PS- in the end, they just said sorry “not sorry” and didn’t take any action of any kind. It still baffles me. Subpar.

  I just want to give a big shout out to young "Charlie" in the men's section back last week. He was incredibly helpful and patient. He selected a number of shorts and swimsuits for me. While unfortunately I wasn't able to buy the shorts I wanted due to the size of the inseam, he was very helpful in the selection of different styles and colors. Not only that, he was able to catch up with me minutes after leaving the men's section since I had inadvertently left behind my pod case in the fitting room. He graciously returned them back to me. Wow!! This is a remarkable show of true customer service and professionalism. Congratulations on your employee training. Thank you Charlie!!! You should be promoted for your hard work. Best

  I bought the dress for my daughter's wedding online as it was a marketplace item. Sarah did the alterations and she was amazing because the dress was very difficult to do. I highly would recommend for her to be your alterations person if you need something done that you bought at the Boca store. She is very sweet and patient.

What stood out most was his leadership and professionalism. He carries himself like someone who not only understands the product, but also understands people. That combination is rare. You can tell he’s a team player who contributes positively to the entire environment. Because of Sergio, this wasn’t just a purchase—it was an experience.
