  Worst experience in all my years shopping in a Bealls. Only 2 people working on a Saturday and cashier didn’t speak English. I wanted to buy an item but it was defective from the home section and searched the store to find a supervisor on the floor stocking clothes. I asked her about this item and if there might be backstock to get another. She was really rude and said that’s not her department and couldn’t help me. So I walked off mad and within a few minutes another customer needed a cooler bag which this supervisor took her back to the home department to show her what was in stock. Now I was mad!!! I went to the checkout and tried to ask if the defective item could be marked down to the non English speaking cashier that literally just stared at me when trying to explain the issue with the item. Somehow she took 10% off it. After her checking me out I was on my way out of the store and decided it wasn’t worth keeping that item being broken. I found the rude supervisor on the floor and she met me at the register to refund my items. I asked for the $55.00 credit receipt and she said it’s against Bealls policy to give that to the customer . So I checked my bank account and she didn’t reverse the charge and I actually got charged through my bank! and additional $33.. So now I’m spending $10 in gas to drive back there to speak to a store manager to get this resolved . Not the experience I intended to have.
