  Very Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Reputation I purchased a ring from the Van Cleef in this store just 3 days ago. Today, I returned to the store hoping to exchange it for a different size. After inspecting the ring, they told me they refused the exchange because the ring was “scratched.” I was shocked. I never wore the ring, not even once. I honestly have no idea how it could be scratched, and I was never informed that such a tiny, almost invisible mark would completely prevent an exchange—especially after only three days. I’ve purchased multiple items from this store before and have never returned or exchanged anything, so this experience was extremely disappointing. The only reason I wanted to exchange was because I decided to wear the ring on my middle finger instead of my ring finger. If I can’t exchange it, I’ll just wear it on my ring finger slightly loose—but that’s not the point. Luxury brands should value their customers and stand behind their products. Making such a big issue over a minor detail makes the product feel less valuable, not more. I own pieces from Cartier and Rolex, and I have never experienced this kind of inflexibility or poor customer service. Compared to those brands, this experience felt cheap and unprofessional, which is shocking for a brand with such a high-end image. Very disappointed. I expected much better from Van Cleef.
