- DSDr. Davisha Scudder2 days ago1.0I came to this store today to repair my Chanel earring. I was told it couldn’t be repaired because it is a single earring and I would have to bring another one of a pair to have the repair be done. Chanel literally sells single earrings on their website which the associate denied. After talking to the Customer Care advisor I was told Chanel no longer solders earrings and that’s what I should have been told instead. That was fine with me and I would not have been as upset as this experience made me. I was told I could do the repair here by a Chanel Customer Care advisor and drove over 1 hour to come to the store only to be turned away. Disappointing experience.

Was directed to Victoria, when I asked her to show me some options, her answer was, oh you need to look around, I don’t know what you like, we only have the models we are displaying… I turned around and headed to Sacks where a very experienced and kind associate helped me find what I was looking for. Training on basic customer service might be needed at the Chanel store.

I wish I could remember the name of the amazing sales associate who helped me substantially lower my bank account balance—all thanks to my wife’s healthy addiction to overpriced handbags. But hey, as they say, “Happy wife, happy life!” The sales associate nailed it with the perfect birthday gift — no returns, no exchanges, just one very happy wife and one slightly broke husband. They even helped me pick out all the matching accessories... because apparently, a handbag never travels alone!
