Went there for a return and she turned hostile to us, just because we wanted to return a fragance. The service was so bad that my mom ended up saying sorry for something she did not do. Jc pennys is a lovely place to buy but I can not believe that workers are entitled to treat customers like that

Walmart, Michaels, Sephora and much more all price match if a customer took the time to visit instores, shop, and happen to discover a better price on your own website! Very unfortunate that should be adjusted for customers willing to shop instores nowadays. Now I have to buy the item elsewhere. ALSO, when buying jewelry here please be sure to check if the associate sneaks on an additional charge for a protection plan!! They are scamming and sneaking their way into forcing customers to add a protection plan with awareness! This is why so many stores are going out of business, terrible operations, never shopping here again!

The associate didn't ask me didn't inform me but just applied protection to every single piece that cost me an additional $60. When I realized that I called the store to see if anything could be done and they could look up the receipt. The manager was extremely Rude and told me I would have to come back into the store for them to fix it. I ended up going to a different JCPenney And was informed that they could refund them, but it would hurt their numbers because there's some sort of incentive behind selling these things. It's like stealing for personal gain. Extremely disappointed with this store.
