Maria Pernas is an extraordinary and very respectful associate. She was very kind, empathetic and attentive with myself and my wife every time we visited the store and met her. I am really happy with her service since she heard me since the very first moment we met and worked together for the timepiece I was looking for, in this case an Explorer II. I am grateful to be working with a person that has a solid foundation of watches and has been in the business for very long time. Grazie di tutto Maria! I will continue to visit this store anew and do business with her and Mayors. 11/10!
Patsy from mayors adventure. Is the Queen. She held so much patience’s with me, even though I had a few embarrassing moments, she didn’t judge. Instead she walked me through it. Before, during , and after. I even came late, without telling her, she still, Had it waiting and said I wasn’t going to let no one get it. I took a flight to her. Had delays. She accepted me with a smile on her face, understanding. Love you for that Patsy. Keep it up never change

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Mayors Aventura
My name is Diana , and I recently visited the Mayors store in Aventura hoping to find a replacement for my lost Rolex. I was approved for a claim through my insurance, Jewelers Mutual, and they directed me to find a jeweler. Given my previous positive experience at Mayors, I thought it would be a wise choice to return.
However, my latest visit was shocking. The amazing salesperson I dealt with two years ago was missing, and instead, I was stuck with Maria. Her attitude was almost disrespectful—disengaged and utterly uninterested, making me feel like an unwelcome burden rather than a potential customer.
I wasn't dressed to the nines; I was just a busy mom rushing through errands like any other day, but I expected at least a level of decency. I was ready to pick out my Rolex, make a $500 down payment, and cover insurance differences, but in just 15 minutes, Maria made it clear that my business was beneath her. She stated she wouldn't hold a Rolex for me because she needed payment in 48 hours, which felt like a cold rejection.
Waiting for a watch isn’t an issue for me—I waited two years for my previous watch, after all. Yet, the way she dismissed me made it painfully obvious she didn't consider me a serious customer.
I tried to express my frustrations to another salesperson, who introduced me to a manager, but by then, I felt like the damage was irreparable. I will definitely be sharing this horrible experience with my friends, warning them about the lack of customer care in your Aventura store.
With an economy like ours, it baffles me that your salespeople outright refuse business opportunities, especially to someone actively looking to buy. It makes me question how much your company values customer engagement when your team acts like my presence is an inconvenience.
I felt it necessary to voice my experience, but honestly, I don't see how this feedback will change anything given my treatment.

I’ve purchased watches from this Mayor’s store before. It was a pleasant experience. A week ago I walked in with the wife for another graduation gift, this time for our daughter. James was the most pleasant and professional I’ve had at any jewelry store period. His kind demeanor and professionalism and knowledge of the brand was impressive. Personally I buy my watches mostly on life events. After retirement i wanted a Rolex. James made that possible for me. Can’t thank him and Gallo enough for making that happen for me. Aventura Mayor’s is my favorite place to go. I will always be a customer. Thanks to the team behind the scenes that go unmentioned. What a wonderful experience!
I’ve hardly take the time to write a review, yet this particular experience absolutely warrants one.
Recently, I purchased a women’s Rose Gold Day-Date with a baguette diamond bezel+dial as an anniversary gift for my fiancée.
Unfortunately, just 4 days after the purchase, my fiancée had a fall that caused damage to the watch. When we returned to town, I contacted the sales associate who sold me the watch, Richard Malcolm, and thoroughly reviewed every defect with him in person. He assured me the watch would be restored to mint condition, “like the day it was purchased.”
Shortly thereafter, I was contacted by Denise Galletti via email and informed the repair would cost close to $25,000 and take approximately 3 months. While I understood the cost given the model, the communication from that point forward was disappointing. Denise was consistently dismissive and unhelpful in tone. The original timeline was extended by an additional month without much explanation.
When we were finally notified the watch was ready for pickup, my fiancée and I went in expecting it to be fully restored as promised. Trusting their word, we did not inspect it in-store. In fact, I was in such good spirits that day that I purchased another beautiful watch from them.
However, once we arrived home and carefully examined the repaired watch, we were shocked. The bracelet remained heavily scratched. Instead of being properly restored, it appeared lightly buffed, leaving sections looking warped and uneven. The side casing even had a visible hole. The watch was nowhere near “mint condition,” nor close to its original state.
If additional work or cost was required to properly restore it, that should have been communicated — especially during a four-month repair window. I made it very clear from the beginning that this was an anniversary gift and that returning it to pristine condition was important to me.
Since receiving the watch back, I have attempted to communicate with Denise and others copied on the email chain, yet have received no response.
For a brand like Rolex and an authorized retailer like Mayors, this level of service is unacceptable. Friends in the luxury watch space that run The 1916 Company were shown the condition of the watch and were genuinely shocked.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from Mayors in Aventura. I would strongly suggest considering other authorized retailers such as Mayors in Bal Harbour Shops or other reputable dealers who prioritize client service and quality assurance.
