  I recently visited the Christiana 1916 Company (Radcliffe Jewelers) to look at a Rolex Datejust. I know you cannot walk into a Rolex AD and buy a watch same day. I just wanted to try-on the watch and get my name on the wait list. Matt, the Rolex salesman, said I had to come back for a interview appointment at a later date. He could not leave the Rolex desk to take my info, although I was the only customer in the store. I then drove to Bucherer in King of Prussia where the polite and friendly Rolex specialist showed me several Datejust watches and entered my contact info into their system. I suspose this is why Bucherer had multiple customers in the store and 1916 did not.

  On 4/11/2026 I acquired my grail watch. My authorized Rolex dealer, Mr. Washington made it possible. Mr. Washington inherited my account from a former employee. Prior to receiving my watch, I had never met Mr. Washington. We only spoke on the phone. From that conversation, I knew he was going to deliver something very special for me. I advised him that I was celebrating my retirement and my upcoming birthday. He did not make any promises but said, " Let me work on this”. Those words alone gave me confidence that I would hear from him again soon. He called about a week later, and told me he had a Rolex Day-Date for me. I was thrilled. We set up an appointment and I met him for the first. We bonded immediatel. He was a complete gentleman. He is Professional, meticulous, and patient. It was one of the best watch purchasing experience I've had in my life. Mr. Washington was genuinely happy to sell the watch to me. I'm ecstatic to have him as an authorized dealer. I hope to do business with him in the near future. I'm limited to only give him a five star review, but his performance deserves even more.

  Working with Russell at The 1916 Company was nothing but an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the very beginning, Russell was personable, friendly, and incredibly easy to talk to, which made the entire process feel comfortable and enjoyable rather than intimidating. What really stood out to my husband and I was how attentive and thoughtful he was. He took the time to understand exactly what Kurt was looking for, offer options to explore different taste he didn’t know he had, and kept us informed every step of the way. Another trait that stood out about him was that communication was consistent, genuine, and NEVER felt transactional — literally felt like he truly cared. That alone speaks volumes about his dedication, work ethic, and commitment to his clients. This was more than just a purchase — it felt like a meaningful experience, and that is entirely because of Russell. We are so grateful for his hard work and professionalism, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a truly elevated and personal experience.

  JASAMUTH LEE, Sales Professional, assisted me with my purchase. The item I wanted was not available in store but she took the time to find exactly what I wanted on The 1916 Company website. She was very patient and knowledgeable about the item of interest. She also offered me a cold drink well she explain different time pieces. This was very helpful because I was ensure of what size would look best on me. I was able to try on different sizes and found the perfect match. When I returned for pick up, she continued to be very professional and knowledgeable on every question. In addition she cleaned my wedding set, (not purchased there), while my purchase from her was being sized. I highly recommended Jass and I will be returning and have given her cards to my family and friends for future purchases.

  I recently acquired a watch that had been a goal of mine since my teenage years, and it’s all thanks to Matt. I first visited the store last year, where I was warmly greeted by him. He took the time to explain what makes Rolex stand out among other brands, as well as many of the smaller details. That same day, I felt there was something special about Matt - the way he treated me and carried himself was both knowledgeable and professional. I knew right away he would do everything he could to help me get the watch I was looking for. A couple of months later, I received a text from him saying my watch had arrived and that I was welcome to come pick it up. Overall, it was a great experience from the moment I first walked into the store to the final walkthrough on how to use and care for the watch. I truly appreciate Matt and his assistance, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone - in fact, I already have to my friends
