  Tried to return some jeans that I bought for someone. The button broke off the first time they wore them. AE refused to take them back. Their quality of clothing have definitely gone down hill, and they aren’t GREAT jeans so won’t be returning.

  If I could give zero starts I would. Customer service is HORRIBLE !!! They are currently having a buy 1 one ,get 1 50% off sale on “mom” jeans at AE. Atm so I stopped in to make a purchase. I picked my two pairs of mom jeans and before going to check out I went over to a group of workers putting away clothes to confirm the sale. I stood there and got ignored as they gossiped . I was finally able to get a word in to confirm the “MOM” jeans were on sale they replied “yea” with a nasty attitude . I go to check out the lady at the register seemed she couldn’t be bothered and kept checking her Apple Watch and shaking her leg when trying to check out . She rings up the jeans and says “did you get the over there and points to the mom Jean section “ I reply “yes” so she calls on the radio to have someone check and says go ahead and insert your car which I do mind you this is the same person I asked about the same . As I pay I look at my receipt and they were not buy 1 get 1 50% off they were both at full price. Now as I’m leaving I say I though the mom jeans were on sale they were yeah but that particular pair isn’t included in the sale I feel like as an employee that I talked to about this sale should have said that before asking me to Insert my card and taking my money. If it’s posted wvweywhere in the mom jean section that they are buy one get one 50% off why would that not be included also why not tell a customer that when they check out instead Of just taking there money . Not only that the staff was just rude and unhelpful the entire time. I will not be back to this store . I’m disgusted in the customer service I received ! I went to the store On 3/03/2022 around 5:30pm

  I was placed on hold after asking a question for about 10 minutes and then she proceeded to hang up on me😒😒
