I brought back a defective product - sweatshirt with a hole and horrible piling after one wash - and the manager refused to even consider store credit for a return. She gave me the customer service line and said good luck.

I guess they thought I was going to steal. I have worked at high theft retail places for almost a decade so I know what it looks like to be “customer serviced”. I wish you all could reevaluate how you protect your assets and not profile based on skin color and assumptions. Please do better.

I was harassed out of the fitting room within 5 minutes of entering, and the same sales associate verbally harassed another and made snide comments as I was browsing. I’ve seen this unprofessional associate at the Georgetown locations a number of times over the years, but this was exceptionally off-putting, not at all what I’m used to with J Crew.
