- JFJolyn FarberJun 4, 20171.0I have shopped at Mitchell's many times. It has a well curated selection of clothing, fine jewelry and accessories. I am a huge fan of their buyers. However, their customer service in my personal experience is beyond reprehensible. Bill Mitchell wrote a fabulous book about his service philosophy. Unfortunately members of his staff are unable to meet those standards (or even moderate grace). I go into the city to shop where I know I will be treated well. And I use the Net-A-Porter personal home delivery service (which has basically the same selection but broader). I do not recommend this establishment. It is really a shame that Westport has this lovely store that is ruined by a handful of employees. Go elsewhere.
