- KKkjcard2Nov 30, 20251.0I would highly recommend getting your portraits taken elsewhere. We had a scheduling issue with our photos, even though I had a confirmation for a 4:45 appointment, we didnt show in the system. The manager thought it would be a good idea to move my clipboard around from studio to studio, like I wouldent notice. Max made us wait over an hour, and continued taking customers that were scheduled after our double booked appointment, which In my opinion, was awful customer service, and the wrong way to handle the situation. Probably worth making the drive to another JC Penny, or just hire private. The pictures were sub par at best, we tried to get a refund, and the Manager gave my wife an attitude, hung up on her, called her back a few minutes later and asked her "If she was calm yet". Which everyone with a half a brain knows, thats the last thing you should say to an already irate wife. Our photographer Angel was wonderful and apologized on behalf of managements poor decision making skills. One out of 5 stars because 0 isn't an option.

No one seems knowledgeable about women's shoes at all. I asked three staff members for help, and they all repeated the same process. Please train your staff to be more versatile and focused on helping customers. Instead of focusing on putting more items out, focus on helping customers. Customers are the reason your staff gets paid. If no one shops, there's no business. I've lost faith in your store, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. 11/14/2025 location: Trumbull Mall

The store has not been answering my calls and when contacting the customer service line, they transfer me repeatedly to a phone line that has been disconnected. I am incredibly frustrated as both in-store and phone representatives have been no help. The in-store employees tell me to contact the customer service line and the customer service line tells me to contact the store. I would like to be in touch with a supervisor.
