  Outstanding customer service even amidst the maelstrom of Valentines day. had to switch up delivery and Carl and Nicole, rose (pun intended) to the occasion. Awesome, highly recommend, will make these guys my go to.

  During freezing arctic cold weather I received the most beautiful bouquet from City line delivered by a lovely man, Fred, who had the most cheerful disposition despite the snow! I’ve saved this florist to my phone for future orders and you should also! I learned since that they’re a family owned business too which is who we need to support these days! Special thanks to Avery for creating such a beautiful work of art and to Carl for being so nice in the phone!

  Absolutely stunning flowers, great customer service, and great delivery! I purchased flowers for my mom, and paid extra for them to be delivered at their early time slot. They met that delivery mark, and even called me while they were there delivering to say that they were there, and did not want to leave the flowers outside because it was 10° out and didn't want them to get ruined, so they wanted to make sure somebody could meet them at the door to get the flowers. I truly appreciated that that they wouldn't just leave the flowers there to get destroyed. They were very nice and professional on the phone, the flowers look amazing, and the delivery was great. Highly recommend!

  My brother in laws funeral was on January 22nd. I ordered a special floral arrangement as my brother in law was a U.S ARMY veteran. I ordered Sgt Stripes and they really went wayyy above and beyond to help me honor him. I will definitely be a permanent customer.

  Edit: Sue, the shop owner, reached out after my review was posted and offered a sincere apology along with a full refund. I am not updating this review simply because the money was refunded—we truly intended the purchase as a way to send our love to dear friends during a very difficult time. I wrote the original review a few days after I had already shared the mix-up with Carl via text and received no response. While this does not change what happened, I do want to acknowledge the care Sue showed in following up with me. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her customers. Would I consider ordering from them again? Maybe. IT'S A SCAM!!!! I had a very disappointing experience with City Line Florist that I feel others should be aware of. I called to place sympathy flowers for a funeral at a church in West Hartford and spoke with Carl, who sounded like the owner. Initially, he was very pleasant and helpful. He suggested switching the arrangement from a spray to a basket in case the church did not have a stand, which I appreciated. He reassured me multiple times that everything would remain the same in color and style, except it would be placed in a basket—and even told me it would cost $30 less. I was extremely specific about the exact colors and style, as I selected the Eternal Grace Spray shown on their website. This arrangement is described as a mix of blue and white with light pink accents and greenery, featuring flowers such as hydrangea, roses, lilies, delphinium, snapdragon, and an elegant crystal cross keepsake. I repeated the color requirements several times to ensure there was no misunderstanding, and Carl reassured me repeatedly that the colors would match. When my friend later sent a thank-you note with a photo of the flowers they received, I was stunned. The arrangement looked nothing like what I ordered. I understand that some flowers can be seasonal, but this was not a minor substitution. The colors were completely different—red, yellow, and orange—and the flowers used were mostly mums, carnations, and roses, which felt like a much cheaper arrangement. To me, this was not just poor service—it was dishonest. I trusted their reassurance during a sensitive time, and instead received something entirely different. Sympathy flowers are meant to honor a life and offer comfort, and delivering something so far from what was promised felt disrespectful, not only to the customer but to the deceased and their family. I would not recommend City Line Florist based on this experience.
