  I am sharing my experience with this Rolex Authorized Dealer because it reflects serious issues with transparency and accountability over a long period of time. Around 2020, I worked directly with Joe DiFabbio, who at the time had been employed at the store for over five years. During multiple conversations, Joe recommended that I purchase a Rolex model that was clearly undesirable in the market—one that trades for thousands below MSRP on the secondary market—along with a gold necklace. The clear implication was that this purchase history would meaningfully position me for a steel Daytona, with an estimated wait time of 3–4 years. Relying on that guidance, I made the purchases. Five years later, I have never been offered the watch. Joe DiFabbio is no longer employed at the store. When I followed up by phone with the owner, Roberto Chiappelloni, he told me that he would “work on something.” However, despite multiple attempts to follow up, I have not been able to reach him since. A couple of months later, I went into the store and discussed the matter in person with Bianca Chiappelloni, who identified herself as both the owner’s daughter and a co-owner. During that conversation, I was explicitly told that steel Daytonas “do not go to customers like you” and that these watches are allocated only to “consistent customers who spend much more.” This directly contradicts the guidance I was given at the time I was encouraged to make additional purchases. There was no acknowledgment of prior representations made by their associate, no continuity when staff changed, and no transparency about allocation standards before significant purchases were recommended. Rolex Authorized Dealers are expected to represent the brand’s values of fairness, trust, and long-term customer relationships. Based on my interactions with Joe DiFabbio, Roberto Chiappelloni, and Bianca Chiappelloni, I strongly advise prospective customers to be cautious about relying on verbal assurances tied to future allocations and to insist on clear, written expectations before making purchasing decisions.
