We have spent a lot of time and money in this company’s stores but since the stores have been bought by Bass Pro the Customer Service has gone tremendously down hill., This afternoon we spent ten minutes at the gun counter to purchase a gun and scope for a hunt my husband is taking in October. No once did we get approached by the six men standing around talking amongst themselves instead of helping customers. Very sad to see these stores customer service diminish as much as it has, but after today will not step foot inside another store.

I will not spend another dime at any of their stores (Cabelas, Bass Pro, Etc.) because of the extremely bad experience I had at the Lone Tree, CO location. The firearms manager lied to me over the phone - said a particular firearm was in "great shape" and tried to quickly sell it to me over the phone. I said I need to take a look at it first. After driving all the way there from Colorado Springs, it was nearly impossible to get anyone in the firearms department to help me. When I finally received some help, as others have said, it was like I was bothering the employees. Back to the firearm, it looked like it literally had fallen off a truck. I have never seen a NEW firearm in such terrible condition. Scratches, deep gouges, etc. The manager offered me a discount. I told him I'm not interested in a discount - I'm interested in a quality firearm. Very deceitful of the manager to try to sell it to me over the phone after lying about the condition of the firearm. Manager is not trustworthy or considerate. Save yourself some time, money, etc. SHOP AT SCHEELS or AMAZON.com
