Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.

- EPEleanor PontikesApr 24, 20252.0I’ve always loved this store for its community events and the sense of local connection, but I’ve had a string of really disappointing experiences with the sales associates lately. While I totally understand that retail can be tiring—especially during mud season with limited hours and less people in town—I’ve found the day-to-day staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful. On my last visit, I came in close to closing time (not realizing the hours had changed due to mud season). Even though I had several items in hand, not a single associate offered to help or direct me to the fitting room with my 4 items in hand. Instead, I felt unwelcome, almost like I was an inconvenience. Wanting to be considerate, I offered to just try things on at home and make any returns later, but the cashier didn’t acknowledge my comment or respond at all. I love supporting local businesses and understand that everyone can have off days, but I hope there’s an opportunity for the staff to be a little more welcoming, especially to regulars and those who want to keep shopping in-store versus online.
