Bought a PSE Bow with "Lifetime Maintenance". Called to schedule my bow maintenance and was told they dont do that. Kinda the reason I purchased here. Cabelas wins my money now. I appreciate the lack of support...

So let me start off by saying that everyone that I’ve had any interaction with at the Sportsman’s warehouse has been super unfriendly, as though customer service/experience is a completely foreign concept, and it’s like I’m interrupting them from something by trying to make a purchase. Most recently I experienced something I consider super shady, Like to hear about it? Here goes!
Yesterday I went in there to buy a Holosun optic, i had it pulled up on my phone on the Sportsman’s website with the SKU, dude at the counter grabs my phone out of my hand and walks off with it! Then , probably realizing what he’s done, stops and grabs some paper and writes the info down, goes and rummages around under the counter, and produces a box that’s clearly been opened. I asked if they had a new sealed one, and he tells me “ these don’t come sealed” I have several , they ALL come sealed, but whatever, then he says “nobody’s been in this box guy”. I took the optic out of the box to make sure it didn’t have any scratches on the lens, which it didn’t- just a nice fingerprint- nobody’s been in the box indeed! At that point I just wanted to get my optic and get on with my life, so I paid for it and took it home. At home, under my bright bench lights I realize that there’s Loc-tite residue on the mounting holes( meaning that it’s already been mounted to something), so I turned it on to check it out and discovered that instead of having a nice crisp circle around a nice crisp dot, it had something resembling 3 rings spread slightly, and the dot looked like a spatter. Clearly this unit was sold to someone, who mounted it, realized it was defective, and returned it, and rather than return it to Holosun, Sportsmans decided to try and palm it off on the next rube. I took it back this morning, and explained the whole situation to the customer service desk, who had to call someone else up to deal with this conundrum. Eventually a dude who looked like he hadn’t had a shower in a month emerges from the back, inspects the optic, tells the guy to refund me, and that they’ll have to sell it as a “demo”. I told the guy that the unit is clearly defective, and this intellectual giant want’s to argue with me that “that’s just how this model is” which is patently false, all my others are crisp and clear. Then he cop’s attitude with me and says “ well, you're getting your money back, so have a nice day sir”. I think this is super shady, not like these things are inexpensive, and the entirety of this experience leaves a bad taste. Don’t shop here, if ever a store deserved to go out of business it’s this one.

Chuck is the man. I frequent this location a lot and every time he is working I get the best service. Chuck makes it feel like I’m not shopping in a big box store and rather a mom and pop shop. Thank you Chuck for your great attitude and willingness to always give great service. I appreciate ya.

First and last time going there! Walked in dozens of employees! No one said hi no one said welcome in no one said can I help you! As I walked around completely lost! I started noticing the employees completely going out of there way to welcome every Girl customer and ask if there was anything they could help with! In fact several employees would go together to ask the Girl customers if they could help as a team! As I still walked around looking completely lost. Finally I found what I was looking for. I thought it was a fair price and lots of people recommended this place to me telling me that, they have good prices. However to my surprise when I went to checkout after still no one has asked if they could help me. The gentleman at the counter asked me if I found everything ok? I told him no and it was my first time in. Then a girl walked in and he asked me for my rewards card? I checked out and left almost as fast as I could I felt I didnt want to intrupt them anymore helping every Girl customer that entered. As I got to my car to my surprise the prices at the store and on the receipt didnt match (of course I said to myself) The store isle had them listed as 23.99 and i spent 36.99! Well again first and last time I will go there!
