They made me go to a service center to get the device unlocked, which I had to pay $40 extra to do. And then have to wait another seven business days to hopefully get repaid the extra money that I had to pay for their mistake.

When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
