Having recently lost a significant amount of weight, I was already feeling overwhelmed by the idea of shopping for jeans. When I saw Madewell’s huge selection, my first instinct was to turn around and leave. Then Cordelia appeared, almost like she’d stepped out of a magical realm, and everything changed. I was skeptical about working with a salesperson, expecting the usual push to buy every single thing suggested. But Cordelia was incredibly warm, kind, and extremely professional. She was patient when I was on the verge of tears, and she gave me honest, thoughtful feedback about what worked and what didn’t. Most importantly, she helped me find four pairs of jeans that I truly feel amazing in. As an extreme introvert, I don’t usually connect with salespeople, but by the end of our session, I honestly wanted to be best friends with her. She completely turned my night around. Thanks to Cordelia, I am officially a Madewell customer for life. She made what could have been a stressful, discouraging experience into something uplifting and unforgettable. She's a treasure to the retail industry.
