- MSMark SNov 11, 20253.0I remember when they built this place in 1982, it felt huge and unique. They started an enormous renovation right before Covid. They put a ton of money to modernize things, it looks great actually. Very unfortunate timing. They tried really hard but large indoor shopping malls are relics these days. SW Plaza is great at being just that. It's almost nostalgic to visit for me. It has some things going for it: lots of retailers bunched up together, about the same prices you would see at the other chain locations, and plenty of parking. If you want to get in some steps and window shop, maybe buy a gift its great. SW Plaza is the archetypal sprawling mall from the past, if you like that model you'll enjoy it.

It’s feeling vacant and more like a place to perform scream therapy, which I suppose the babies and teens enjoy, but it isn’t feeling like a destination shopping mall. My favorite is Dillards and I Never mosey about the mall. It isn’t inviting.
