  Calm, clean, kind, and quiet… what a lovely to shop. I grew up going to “Pennies” with my grandmother and til this day, I still shop here. This one specifically in the S.W. Plaza seems to be my favorite. The staff is so kind and this store generally has a larger selection than others (I tend to find this one better than park meadows). Their jewelry section is really good. Amazing deals and a ton of great stones. High end emeralds for cheap: I know rocks!

  Southwest plaza is so bare they've even changed their hours to close at 7:00 p.m. JCPenney has very few visible employees and it's difficult to find an open cashier. I hate to say it but the store is rather boring. Maybe they should play some music and make the atmosphere a little more upbeat.

  Karl in the jewelry department of this JCPenney was great! His gentle humor brightened our day, he was exceedingly knowledgeable about jewelry, and he made our purchase a pure pleasure. Give this man a raise! He is excellent.

  I went to pick up my online order at JCPenney curbside around 6:50 p.m. I checked in and waited until 6:55, but no one came out. I walked to the doors, which still had lights on but were locked even though the store hours show they’re open until 7:00 p.m. I called four times, but no one answered. A young employee briefly came to the door, and I thought she was coming to help me, but instead, she turned around and never came back. By 7:00 p.m., the store closed, and I never received my order. This was extremely disappointing service unprofessional, discourteous, and not respectful of customers’ time. If a store is scheduled to be open until 7, customers should be helped until 7, not ignored. Make sure to arrive well before closing if you don’t want to risk being shut out. Unfortunately, this experience has made me question shopping at this location again.
