- MBMatt BernierApr 12, 20265.0Everything was awesome with my last pair of Nike shoes until my left shoe started clicking on every step. Click. Step. Click. Step. Click. Step. Then my 13 yr old daughter noticed and started giggling at me. My wife started finding reasons to make snarky remarks that made my 9yr old daughter laugh at me. I'm already out numbered at home! When I was alone and things were quiet, and I was in my own world, I would forget about these noisy shoes until the next time I put on my shoes and I took a step out of the house. CLICK! I would pause, lean my head back and shudder, take a deep breath and stare into the sky. When I finally had a break in the family gymnastics schedule so I ran to DSW. I meekly stood in line and got to the counter. Kimo looked at me confused, this guy with nothing in his hands. I quietly said, "I don't know if there's anything we can do, but these shoes man... They're driving me crazy" He leaned over to Quin, who I am guessing was the MOD on this Sunday, probably worried about me sliding to floor and crying in the checkout line over a silly clicking noise. Quin, waved me over and presented a solution. I found a new pair of shoes, and purchased the shoe protection service (which was only $8 and takes literally a minute... I didn't realize that!). I walked out of the store with shoes that don't click. Haha daughters! Take one item off the list of things to laugh at me about! A sweet Sunday victory. On a serious note, that shoe was driving me nuts. Thank you, Quin!
