It’s sad a business has to implement a silly policy to prevent theft. Instead of taking the right shoes off the shelves so associates can get them from the back why not just put a security tag on each shoe so a customer can try on a pair of shoes? Ruins the overall experience especially when your staff is more about watching customers instead of helping. If DSW keeps this up it’s going to go under like so many other retail stores.

We went here to buy work boots. A lot of the work boots have only the left boot in the box. We wanted to try a pair on and I asked the employee for the right boot. He told me I couldn't have the right boot until the sale was final. They are expensive boots. My husband will not buy them unless he can try on both boots. The employee said that was store policy to not give the right boot until after the sale. He lost a sale. We went across the street to Shoe Carnival and tried on BOTH boots. We bought boots at Shoe Carnival. I understand people are stealing but you lost a sale because of paranoia. Have an employee stand guard while we tried the boot on? You need a better solution. Nobody is going to buy $170 boots, only trying on the left boot.

They NEED TO KEEP UP WITH ONLINE SHIPPING!!!!!!! I looked up a pair of shoes online for work and it said there was ONE pair left in my size (luckily), but when I got there I couldn't find them after looking and asking for 25 minutes and on top of that they told me the website was wrong. Who knows how long they've been out of those shoes, but it would be nice to keep these things updated so people don't waste their time and money going here! Very unprofessional!!!!!
