- KWKendall Williams4 days ago1.0scheels never have the friendliest people answering the phones. they always seem to be in a rush and to get off the phone with you. i called about some shoes and the lady on the phone said that i would have it delivered to my place, i called my apartment complex and asked them if they had it and they didn’t have it. this went one for 3 days….. i called back and forth and i seemed to get the same lady that was on the phone with me the first time and she INSISTED that scheels “didn’t have it” she told me to look elsewhere, because she didn’t know what to do. i called the mail company, my apartment complex, and scheels. i went into scheels because i wanted to talk to someone that was in charge, i gave the young man my order number and THEY HAD IT THE WHOLE TIME!!!! the staff on the phone are ALWAYS so rude, and ALWAYS in a rush. they can do better with customer service on the phone.

The sheer volume and quality of the sporting goods, athletic apparel, and outdoor gear is unmatched. The store layout is engaging, the staff is helpful and enthusiastic, and it's genuinely fun to walk around. I spent a long time browsing the footwear and other departments, which were fantastic. The only reason I'm docking a single star :/ and it's a minor detail—is that I was specifically looking for a basic construction( hard hat )for a job site requirement, and they didn't stock any safety or heavy-duty work gear in that category.

I took my 4 grand daughters and grandson we rode the ferris wheel bought some toys for each everything was great until we stopped for snacks at the candy department the two women working were so rude and made us feel very unwelcome. My grandkids were vary well behaved so not sure where this was coming from. We didn't let it ruin our day but not what we are a custom too when visiting.

The location in Johnstown, CO was great, I just may go to other locations to see how they measure up &&& I was there for a simple exchange of an item, they didn't have a suitable replacement & no hard ball they just issued a refund. So refreshing
- CJCael JonesOct 29, 20255.0One of the best fishing stores in the state with staff that really know what they’re talking about and always extremely helpful with any sort of fishing questions I have! Also they have so much good gear in there that I have a hard time finding anywhere else in the state! Recently had an extremely great experience with Doug in the fishing department taking care of me with a warranty on some fishing equipment and is a very knowledgeable angler! All of the staff are very experienced and helpful and I will be a lifelong customer for all of my fishing gear and general knowledge about fishing thanks for everything over the years guys!
