- AMAndrew MJul 16, 20251.0There’s plenty of SmartStart locations, don’t go to this one. This was the worse SmartStart experience I’ve ever had. The girl with fake eyelashes was incredibly rude and acted as if I was a nuisance being there for a calibration. She told me that she had to clean windows before she could help me and wouldn’t give me an idea how long that would even take. She refused to be helpful and everything she had to say was snotty and very unprofessional. After patiently waiting for her to neglect her customers, she came out and whipped the cable into my car and left a nice scratch right in the middle of the door. Also, seems shady that my service report from SmartStart showed that my technician was Mark V. So was this girl that helped me was even a certified technician?

What do I need to bring to my installation?

When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
