Open since 2001, Sportsman’s Warehouse in Grand Junction, CO is near the Grand Mesa National Forest and the Colorado National Monument. National gunsmithing services are now available! If you like hunting, we’re here to get you all set up with everything you need. Popular pursuits include deer, elk, bear, pronghorn antelope, ducks, geese, grouse, and quail. If fishing is more your speed, we have all of your tackle to catch the largemouth bass or trout that you’re after. We also carry plenty of supplies for hiking or camping. Our shop services are available to spool reels, fix rod tips, mount and boresight rifle scopes, cut arrows, tune bows in our 10-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. Whether it’s a mild winter or hot summer day, we’ve got the seasonal accessories to fit your outdoor adventure. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out local events like the Palisade Peach Festival, Country Jam, various biking events, wine tours, “Mike the Headless Chicken” Festival, Junior College World Series, and Grand Junction Rockies baseball.

I ended up leaving with only one item (a pair of shoes), and honestly I wanted to leave those behind. The store was completely deserted of both customers and employees. I spent more than 15 minutes trying to find someone to help with a few items on my list and couldn’t get assistance from anyone. Eventually I gave up and took the one item I had to the checkout. When the cashier asked if I found everything I needed, I said no -- I had a long list but couldn’t get any help. The response was a silent shrug before completing the transaction. That experience makes it hard for me to want to shop at Sportsman’s Warehouse again.
