Man these stores out west have everything compared to our local SW in West Virginia. Very clean, well stocked store. The staff were knowledgeable and a few were good enough to give us some local information to help on our elk hunt

Among other reasons, this is why I no longer shop Sportsmen's Warehouse. Like many of you that may be reading this, sportsman's bombards you with text messages for their promotions. I know I should just opt out, but I keep thinking one of these days I see a deal to jump on. Well, recently I was in the store and saw a pair of Killik pants. I liked the features and the note on the company's guarantee. I checked the reviews, and they were good, too, but the store didn't have my size. They happened to be on sale, so I went on my phone when I got home and did the order. THE ITEM WAS IN MY ONLINE CART, AND IT'S BACON ON MONDAY I RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE WITH A 10% OFF COUPON... IN THE PROCESS OF DOING THE ORDER. I copied the coupon code and applied it to the order, and completed the checkout. I noticed the 10% off was not applied, so I took the time to make the call to customer service. They informed me I couldn't use the coupon because the pants were already on sale. I responded to the customer service person informing them that NO WHERE in neither the coupon code nor in the item description did it say a coupon code was not allowed on a sale item. I waited on hold, while she called her "manager," but the response was the same. I canceled my order. And I doubt there will be very many reasons for me to shop Sportsmen's in the future.
The pants were 76.99, so the additional discount was $7.60, so it wasn't about the discount to me. It's about my business worth to Sportsmen's. Evidently it's not even worth $7.60. Lol! How dumb. We all know corporations don't give a flip about your business, really. Seriously, why do we do it? Disappointing, though. This scenario was a cut and dry, bait 'nd disappoint. And I'm totally sure Sportsmen's won't care one iota about this review. Dear reader, taken the time to write this true and honest review. Find a locally owned business that will appreciate YOU. Or just order off the internet. Sportsman's doesn't need my business and they don't need yours.
