This store is fantastic! The team always goes above and beyond to build and shape a nice hat for you. I recently brought my dad’s old cowboy hat in to be re-blocked and flanged. They did a fantastic job and then Dan shaped it into a masterpiece! That beat up old hat I brought in now looks like new with a pencil brim, Gus crown and a mule kick in the back. These guys are AMAZING and a company we should all be supporting!

Great place and great quality. We've always been treated well until now. I want to preface this with the situation being mostly my fault, but I was steered wrong with the woman that customized a hat for me.
Months ago, I bought a hat there with my husband. The hat was basically shaped identical to his, and seemed very masculine. We were already well into the customization when I knew it wasn't going well. I trusted that she knew what I needed since they're famous for their custom hats. I have a petite face, and I ended up getting a hat that was too big of a brim and a shape that doesn't flatter my features. Imagine a little girl wearing her dad's hat... that's what I looked like in it.
I've never worn this hat. We came in today to get a tune up on my husbands felt he bought from there. I brought mine just in case to see what could be done. I happened to find a hat already pre shaped that fit me perfect. When we asked if we could do an exchange, we were told that its situational. Some people they'll accommodate, and some they won't. To be told they couldn't do anything for us felt a bit like they don't care if we keep doing business with them. I still bought the other hat and accepted the loss.
I'm not sure if we will continue purchasing from them in the future due to how stringent they are. I mean, at least offer a discount on the other hat I still purchased despite being told we aren't the kind of people they allow to make exchanges. Having a "situational" return policy doesn't seem right.
