This was the first bad experience I’ve had in a Rolex boutique. The sales Rep Tony Gross has an immense air of arrogance & condescension. He wouldn't look up availability or pricing on a pepsi GMT until I confirmed A) “I can afford the watch & B) I am willing to buy today”. Obviously that depends what he has available and pricing.
I put my 2 year old bluesy on the counter, that should be an indication that I can afford to buy a Rolex. I also mentioned I’ve purchased 2 other Rolexes from my local AD.
Every answer he gave me was flippant & snarky. He mentioned about 4 times they're the biggest certified resaler in the world & have no trouble selling them.
That doesn't justify being a jerk.
I’m not sure if its bc I’m Middle Eastern but I shouldn’t have to be demeaned in front of my wife by the sales guy for bothering him with my purchase.
I’m a med device territory manager & I would never treat any of my customers like that It must be a very low barrier to entry for that position. Zero sales or people skills needed. I’m glad he was clear they don’t need sales because, I will never spend a dollar at that store after this.

I bought my first Rolex from The 1916 Company a few days ago. Lethious is an exceptional Sales professional. I stopped in multiple times looking for a full set ‘Bluesy’ and I was always greeted by Lethious who showed me different watches and let me try them on. Once I found a Bluesy available I had to purchase it and Lethious was there every step of the way with superlative professionalism and communication. I’ll only go to this store to add watches to my watch collection moving forward.

Visited the Tudor boutique at the 1916 Company to browse. Ava, the associate was extremely helpful and friendly, allowing me to try on the watches that I was interested in. I didn’t end up making a purchase that day and opted to shop around. Ava kept in touch, answering any questions I had and following up via text. Because of her follow-up and great service I ended up returning to purchase a Pelagos 39 mm watch. It is an amazing watch and the experience was excellent. I would highly recommend the 1916 Company and in particular, Ava for her follow-up and service.

We’ve been shopping here since 2019 with Hain who has been absolutely helpful and responsive and a joy to work with! She goes above and beyond to get what you like, to the best of her abilities. We plan to continue our great relationship and bring more friends to the 1916 company! We also love all the other SAs - Carlos, JC and Yelena - who are always pleasant to chat with. They do service so well. The manager, Germaine, also makes sure to say hi when we are there, which truly enhances the experience. We love shopping here and we are not going anywhere!
I had a fantastic experience at the 1916 Company in Cherry Creek today. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I especially want to recognize Jude, who made the entire visit memorable. He was engaging, friendly, and a great listener. The best salespeople listen to learn the rest listen for an opening to respond and Jude clearly listens to learn. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and gave thoughtful, knowledgeable feedback to every question I had. At no point did the experience feel rushed or pressured. Honestly, it felt more like I was shopping with one of my best buddies than working with a salesperson. What stood out most was his depth of knowledge and genuine passion for watches. Anyone can stand behind a counter, but it's rare to find someone who truly knows the product inside and out. In my opinion, he knew the watches better than most people you'll meet in the industry, and the fact that he personally owns and proudly wears the brand himself says a lot. Luxury retail is all about the experience, and Jude delivered one of the best customer experiences I've had in a long time. If you're visiting this location, I highly recommend asking for him. I'll definitely be back.
