  I bought the tribute mules 3/24, I wore them for two trips throughout the year and the last night I wore them, my daughter said your heels are pointed the wrong way, which I had noticed they were hard to walk in. I took them off and realized they were totally twisted. In February of 2025 I contacted YSL about the shoes as I had I only wore them a few time. I bought these online so this review has nothing to do with the store as I live 19 hours away. But YSL customer service had me ship them to Denver to get fixed. I mailed them in February, got a few emails here and there about repair tickets. Two weeks ago, I got an email saying the shoes were finally being repaired. Two days later I got a phone call to come get them. I told them where I live and asked for them to be mailed to me. I was thrilled to get my shoes back as I loved them, but when I opened the box I realized they were gone for 6 months and they weren’t fixed at all. I called immediately and was told it was “wear and tear”. I needed again to provide proof of purchase, pictures, and a video of me walking in them. I provided all of this assuming they’d take care it as they weren’t even a year old. I live in northern Minnesota, I only wear the shoes on vacation. I got an email back saying there is nothing they will do as the shoes are too small and I ruined them. I wear a size 39.5-40. I have five pairs of YSL shoes all in these sizes. Depending on what’s available online or in another store. I also have five pairs of Christian Louboutin‘s in a 39.5. I took the shoes to a cobbler to fix and he said the shoes are so poorly made and there’s nothing about them that could possibly cost $900 and they can’t be fixed. I have spent over $15,000 at YSL in the past three years. Online, in Toronto, Nashville, and from Neiman Marcus or Sacs. I have 6 bags, a clutch, four SLG, and I now have four pairs of working shoes. This is the Denver store that made this decision. Brecken Ware “the customer relations manager” was the one to make the decision. I will never spend another dime on YSL “luxury”. I thought a luxury experience included a warranty or at least decent customer service. I was waived away and blamed for the problem. I’ve never been so disgusted with myself for spending all my extra dough on a “luxury” brand that I loved. I will be reselling every item as I will never encourage anyone to spend this kind of money on a faulty product and terrible customer service. I will attach pictures of what the shoes look like now.

  Beware of this store! As an upscale designer store I would expect them to stand behind the quality of their products and they don’t. I purchased an expensive garment. As the picture shows, the garments states that garment can be “washed in met bag” and “dry flat”(do not tumble Dry): I did just that and the garment was damaged. The store manager says those instructions were for a dry cleaner. Won’t refund or exchange or do a Store credit. Does anyone know a dry cleaner that will wash your garment in a net bag and dry it flat? 🤣🤣. The experience is NOT a luxury designer shopping experience. Will never step foot there or purchase that designer!! Or maybe that store Director came from a thrift store Background! Staying away from those guys!
