  Despite not being TJ Maxx (or having TJ Maxx prices), Nordstrom sells expired luxury cosmetics and skin care items. They sent me a bottle of Dr. Sturms sundrops that was expired by three months. Customer service then wanted me to go to the time and trouble to return the item. Not worth shopping here.

  I ordered a blazer in-store from a sales associate because they didn’t have my size. Picking up my jacket and getting it tailored was overly complicated and time consuming. None of the salespeople wanted to help me because I had purchased the jacket from someone else at a different time. The customer service was so bad that I don’t want to shop at this store, or Nordstrom generally, anymore. First, I went to the men’s suit department, found a salesperson and asked for my blazer, just to be told that they wouldn’t help me get it. Then I had to go upstairs, wait in line, come back 20 min later, find another salesperson, ask for a tailor and try on the blazer, but I got no feedback because the salesperson walked off. Then, I had to wait another 15 min. While I waited, the salespeople that were there were just kind of staring at me awkwardly like I shouldn’t be there because nobody explained to them why I was just sitting there for an extended period of time and nobody was checking in on me or giving me updates. Then the tailor came and did his thing, but I got no guidance from a salesperson and didn’t understand what the tailor was doing or why. Then I had to take my blazer and go find another salesperson to check me out, but there was a line so I had to wait another 10 min. Then I had to pay like $70 for tailoring (I guess they don’t do free tailoring any more?) that I wasn’t sure about - I didn’t even know what the tailor had done exactly or why, because I didn’t get the clearest explanation and, like I said before, there was no salesperson there to explain. Also, I didn’t get the impression that much was being done and $70 for some basic tailoring seems like a lot. Also, I was told the tailoring would just take a couple of days when I bought the jacket, but the tailor was trying to push it to 8 days. I had to “negotiate” it down to 5, which is cutting it close for my business trip. I shop at this Nordstrom pretty often and haven’t had great customer service any time that I’ve gone, but this experience was especially bad. I ended up feeling annoyed, confused, worried and kind of scammed. The blazer was Canali and cost $2,000, not including tailoring. The salesperson who checked me out just hung the jacket up on the side of the counter where anyone could grab it, and it didn’t have a security tag. I hope it isn’t ruined or lost 🤷.

  Love Nordstrom, the best company out there but the staff at this location is beyond rude and stuck up. Wouldn’t acknowledge me, stared at me like I was going to steal and just gave bad customer service. Not sure why they act like they do but they need better customer service training

  Hello Brandi, Thank you for your response and for acknowledging the issue. However, an internal review is not a satisfactory resolution for the deeply frustrating experience I had. I need to know what concrete actions you are taking *now* to compensate me for the inconvenience and resolve this problem. I want a clear plan of action immediately. Please understand that without a satisfactory resolution, I will have no choice but to involve my lawyer as soon as possible. Rafik Worst experience of my life. I came yesterday to Nordstrom, I bought a Moncler jacket, price was $1380, le salesman Erwan told me if you want to buy it I can apply a discount and made it at $940, I told this is a good deal and I keep it. I paid the jacket and continue walking in the shop 15 min to buy another stuff when the salesman came to me and told me that finally he can’t apply this price and his Manager named Megan came to me she was with a very bad and disappointed attitude and told me that I need to pay the difference or I can’t go away with the jacket. Erwan told me if I am not doing that he will lost his job. So in order to protect the salesman I’ve decided to give the jacket and requested my money back what he did and I left the store very disappointed and frustrated. I won’t never go anymore in that shop, inform my friends and family about how they dealing with customers and will post on social medias my bad experience in the shop.
