    The employees at this particular Lane Bryant are terrible. This whole issue started one week ago. I made a purchase which I paid cash for. The employee failed to hand me a printed receipt. Printed receipts are still standard practice in retail. Another employee was quite insistant that I check my email for the receipt. Eventually, I did find the email receipt showing a CASH purchase. Today I presented the email receipt to return the item. The item was still in original packaging, tags on, completely unused, etc. The employee forced me to accept store credit for the return. THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. She made no effort to explain why I had to accept in store credit or get help resolving this issue. The only thing she did was show me the computer saying something about a gift card and completely disregarded my receipt showing a cash transaction. I figured out the issue myself kinda. The original purchase was ordered at the store and shipped to my house. For whatever even reason even though I paid CASH, the employee put the order on a virtual gift card. The employee never informed me of this or that I was not going to get my original form of payment back should the item need to be returned. REGARDLESS, THIS IS TRASH. I PAID CASH. I HAVE A RECEIPT THAT SHOWS I PAID CASH. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN CASH BACK. Unfortunately in recent years Lane Bryant has been hiring people that just don't care about customers and are very poorly trained. They are very good with the script they are provided, but when a problem arises, they lack resolution skills.
