  Bad experience: long story short I had to come back in to pick up an online order and the original person I had worked with issued a refund instead a second pickup date. So no Black Friday deal for me unfortunately. The staff were polite through the whole exchange, I give them that, but they didn’t offer to help remedy the situation in any way, so that was frustrating. If it’s above their pay grade or knowledge level then they should at least look into offering some compensation of some sort for their mistake. This was on them, not me.

  Went to Bass Pro to buy ammunition for our 88 Cruiser. I knew what I wanted, and was having trouble finding it (12g 3" #6 birdshot. Didn't know that 3" was kind of rare compared to 2 3/4"). Associate in the ammo room asked me what I was using it for, I told him "potential home defense" and gave him all of my parameters (townhouse. Thin walls. Neighbors. Dogs. Children next door. Not trying to make a Window between my house and the neighbors house in the event that I Miss). The associate then tells me "#6 birdshot doesnt have Any stopping power", and then proceeds to (poorly) explain Shot Size to me without me asking him. He then points me to the "home defense" cabinet and tells me "00 or Steel Slugs are what you want". (For the folks who aren't aware, both of those ammo types are Very large and would destroy the wall between your apartment and your neighbors apartment, and likely injure or even k#ll someone on the other side. Also, the specific brand he was suggesting was almost $2 per shell. Useless ripoff for home defense in a small apartment or townhouse.) Frankly, this is Dangerous information to be giving to people, especially in the event that someone with little to no experience is trying to effectively protect themselves, their family or their neighbors. More people are arming themselves than ever right now, and we need Calm, Reasonable and Educated people handling these requests and inquiries. Ended up leaving with a box of Federal 2 3/4" #6 birdshot. Price was average. Will not be returning.

  Good place to overnight stay in the parking lot. Parking lot owned by the mall so you just have to call security. They are super nice and meet you at your truck to fill out paper work. They also say they do rounds and if there is any issues to just call them. Safe place to overnight!

  The moment you walk in, you are welcomed by incredible nature-inspired atmosphere. There are very large sections in all outdoor-related categories, from fishing and boating to hunting and camping. It is a very spacious and well equipped store. There is almost no chance of not finding what you are looking for. The big aquarium inside and the wildlife displays are outstanding. I was truly impressed and loved it.

  Went to this location to check out Henry Long Range rifle. The web page said there were 3 in stock at this location. When we went there, a young man offered to check in the back. Came back, said there were none. Offered no further info or help (ordering options, explanation, alternative products). Spoke to a female employee after that and she said to us: "do you think he is lying?". WHAT??? The word "Liar" was NEVER said. If the site says 3 in stock but there are none, that's likely an issue with inventory control. We have been to many Bass Pro locations, never had a problem before today.
