  I was a loyal Madewell customer until my friend was poorly treated by an employee at this location. Not coming back.

  Female employee wearing glasses that was working the closing shift of 4/23 was very rude. Every return I have ever made has been automatically reimbursed to the credit card I payed with and this day she said that I needed to have my physical card with me even though I had the receipt and my ID. I told her, that it was the last day for the return and she said "next time don't wait until the last day". I have a full time job so it's difficult to make returns with my schedule. When I asked for an extension on the return so that I could bring in my physical card, she said she could only give me one more day. When I asked for her name she ignored me and walked away. I was kind and respectful throughout and the entire time she spoke in a rude tone. I have been a longtime customer at Madwell and am even an insider member😞. It's a shame that the customer service is going down hill at this location. Never coming back.

  I'm someone who has never had a pair of jeans that I loved, but I've always wanted to have that perfect pair. I decided to give Madewell jeans a try because I'd heard they were cut well for different body types. (I have a small waist and bigger legs so I often have a waist gap or they are too tight in the thighs.) Jordan in the Walnut Creek location is so knowledgeable and patient and she helped me find the perfect pair of jeans for me. Not only do they fit great, but they are super soft and so comfortable. I tried on so many pairs and she helped me refine it down to the one that was perfect for me (the Perfect Vintage Wide Leg). Thanks Jordan!
