Like they state on their website, you can get a same day appointment for install of a iid to get yourself back on the road. The trouble comes after you sign on the dotted line. Be prepared to wait on hold for hours at a time if you have any issues with their service or equipment. Additionally, they set you up for 30 day calibration when California allows 60 days. Their service providers also charge more than the contracted price. If you miss a calibration appointment, Life Safer and not the calibration company, charges $50. That adds up really quickly. Then, when you have completed your time, they give you run around just to have their equipment removed from your vehicle. I spoke 3 different representatives and received a different answer each time. The last representative I contacted through chat, Kimberly, was supposed to send me paperwork that the first 2 never even talked about. However, I never received it and now I have to call back for the 3rd time. Beware, don’t be fooled by their initial helpful attitude. It changes in a heartbeat once you are bond by a contract.
