- JKJamie KogerDec 10, 20251.0Sadly customer service is NOT what it used to be. A cashier told me defiantly that aerie can only accept returns with a physical receipt. Cannot look up by emailed receipt, phone nunber; aerie app etc. Not true: its not the early 2000s. After she buzzed her manager, her boss said yes, they can look up by my phone number etc. When i politely asked to speak to a manager the manager grimaced at me while i spoke and kept cutting me off saying the cashier was new and not thoroughly trained. Yikes!

When I came back, the manager refused to accept the return, did not offer any solution, and was extremely rude. On top of that, the staff was the worst I’ve ever encountered — sloppy, slow, and made the entire experience very uncomfortable.
