  Want to shout out Mike, who works near the airsoft and pellet guns. Me and my friend showed up looking for pellets, but unsure which ones I needed. My rifle markings were faded off but Mike figured out which ones would work

  Very disappointing shopping experience at Bass Pro Shops. I was purchasing a hat marked $24.99, with no indication on the price tag that the price was in USD rather than CAD. Since the store is in Canada and the “$” symbol is used for both currencies. At the checkout, the cashier told me that the price was actually in USD, and the final amount was 46.60 CAD (about $42 before tax). When I questioned the pricing, the cashier’s attitude was not particularly helpful. If a price is displayed in USD in a Canadian store, I believe that should be made very clear on the price tag. Otherwise, customers can reasonably understand the advertised price to be Canadian dollars. On top of that, the USD-to-CAD conversion being applied seemed particularly unfavorable.

  I am raising a serious complaint regarding the handling of my fishing reel by Bass Pro Shops. I brought my reel to your store solely to have the fishing line changed. I entrusted my personal property to Bass Pro Shops for a specific service, with the clear expectation that my reel would be returned to me complete and with all of its original components. When the reel was returned to me, I discovered that the original gear was missing. This is unacceptable. Once Bass Pro Shops accepted my property for servicing, I expected it to be properly safeguarded and returned in the same condition, aside from the service that I specifically requested. The fact that an original component is now missing raises serious concerns about how my property was handled while it was in your possession. I am not accepting responsibility for the loss of this component; I did not lose or remove the gear—it went missing while my reel was under the care of Bass Pro Shops. Escalate this complaint to a store manager or the appropriate corporate customer-service department. I paid Bass Pro Shops to perform a specific service—not to lose or remove an original component from my equipment. As a consumer, I expect my property to be treated with reasonable care while it is in the company's possession. This is the first time that has happened very disappointed and unacceptable.
