  An excellent store — every time, you want to come back again. Everything is clean and well organized, and you can always find what you need. The only downside is that you may end up buying things you didn’t plan to buy, because everything looks so tempting, so you really need self-control. Our child absolutely loves coming here. The atmosphere feels very close to nature and fishing — overall, it gives off a wonderful outdoor vibe. We highly recommend visiting this store if you haven’t done so yet, although we honestly doubt there are many people who haven’t. And if you’ve already been there, then it’s worth visiting even more often.

  I went here and I got a bison jerky and a Canadian goose stuffed animal. I don't think I'm the intended audience, but I would recommend this place to anyone trying to get Canadian goose stuffed animals or bison jerky

  Very disrespectful and rude staff. As a father of 2 little kids, we loved this store very much so far, but we had a terrible experience today. I went in to get my little kid a trucker’s cap today, and my kid found his favorite colored hat. The price tag said $7.99 but a cashier said the total was about $14. I was very puzzled and asked. But she just said it’s because the price tag is US dollars. When I said it seems a little deceiving, she tried to find a cheaper cap for us instead of apologizing. So I asked if I could talk to her manager, and she called someone over. The manager said the same thing with some attitude like we are idiots. She said it’s US company and everything comes in US dollars as if there is no problem at all and we are causing the problem. I asked how I can file an official complaint, and she said we could contact the corporate. She told the cashier to just do the price match as if we were begging. I rejected and left the hat on the till as I didn’t want to get it that way. I asked her name to file a complaint and she said ‘I am not giving you my name. I can give you my manager’s name. It’s Wayne.’ I hear the cashiers called her ‘D’ or ‘Dee’. She threw her manager under the bus when he wasn’t even there. I understand that there could be mistakes and someone forgot to put the correct price on it. $12.99 is still a good deal for a embroidered hat and I would have bought anyway. However, no one at the front end seemed apologetic and made me feel like I am the problem. Maybe this is the way that US company treats customers.

  I had a great experience at Bass Pro Shops in Saskatoon, especially in the fishing section. Dave D was extremely helpful when I was buying my first nice walleye rod. He took the time to explain different options, gave honest advice, and made sure I picked something that fit what I needed and my budget. You can tell he really knows his stuff and actually cares about helping customers, not just making a sale. Because of his help, I felt confident in my purchase and learned a lot too. Really appreciate the service—definitely recommend asking for Dave if you need help with fishing gear.

  yeah so i was there with my uncle on monday and we had spoken with Jennifer at the rifle section. originally Jimmy had called us over and was talking to us. i can see the ear pieces, and supposedly he was “talking to a customer” said by Jennifer. she was very rude to us, when my uncle just wanted to ask a couple questions about the rifles you had in stock. if Jimmy didn’t want to talk to us, then why would he call us over and answer my uncles questions? Jennifer kept butting in and said he was dealing with a customer via the ear piece. my uncle is a very nice man and even he didn’t say anything back to her just walked away. however on the other hand we got to the middle of the store, and he had a question and asked the older gentleman and he was very helpful. we paid for our things at customer service and they made conversation and were very nice. Jennifer at rifles was rude and wouldn’t let my uncle get his words edgewise. probably won’t be returning and i don’t recommend getting served by Jennifer. i remember what she said and she was just not professional. no i will not being going into this further more. just thought yall should know 😃
