  It seems like they wanted a 1-star review. I rode to the area by train (and bike) to savor the last day of a free train pass. Buying a pack of Vans socks was one of my initial intentions, that I talked myself out of spending money on. Following a number of other errands, I wound up having an 80-minute wait for the homeward train to San Rafael (too bad my local Vans store closed down a few years ago.) So, waiting for the train, I decided to “run” to the mall and buy a 6-pack of the good quality Vans socks. I basically was “tackled” by a truly decorated punk that talked like one: I just wanted look at the sock racks myself quietly. Hey, I was wearing a backpack and holding my bike helmet as a bowl for my sunglasses: there I would make a really dumb thief, especially when I was the only customer there with 3 employees on duty. DUE TO THAT EXPERIENCE, I went home realizing that I got the wrong size and later I will have to exchange AT THE OTHER STORE that I just called. Back to the shopping trip, when I went to the register, there was a clean young lady apparently waiting at the register who flagged the punk to ring me up, then she walked away towards the back and walked back to the register area as I was about to leave the register area following the purchase: what made her think I had a ^scary^ ulterior, especially when she was not alone. I’m aware that one can judge as me talking about preferences, but take note that I was talking about what they did. Had I memorized the train schedule, I would have gone the distance to the other great Vans store at Santa Rosa Marketplace by Costco instead.
