- JLJessica LiuNov 9, 20252.0There was a super cute sweater i wanted to buy on the mannequin. they didn’t have my size on the racks so i asked an employee if she could give me the sweater on the mannequin. she told she would look in the back for my size, but then the manager came over and told me they couldn’t take clothes off the mannequin. it’s so strange because every single american eagle i’ve been to (like 4-5) has taken clothes off the mannequin for me. it’s not illegal or anything, the staff is lazy, unhelpful, and more concerned about giving nasty looks to customers.

The music is so darn loud in here, but I'm just too old. I asked the worker to remove the security tag along with an online order page printed. The employee said "we don't do that." "Did you buy this from American Eagle?" Asked if I bought this sweater at the store. "This security tag came from an online order?" After talking to the manager, the security tag was removed. A simple, "sorry you had to deal with this" and removal would've been a 5-star.
