  I did a return today and was greeted HORRIBLY by Sharon. I was at the door at 10AM, the time they are supposed to open. She saw me waiting but continued to dust around. Finally, at 10:05 she unlocked the door. I informed her that I had a return. Her reply to me - UGH, first thing in the morning? She did not even smile and continued to walk to the register. I told her I was sorry that it was her first transaction of the day, she shrugged her shoulders. I then told her that she has made me feel terrible for returning one of 3 pieces of clothing I bought, she then said, it’s just so early! I have never been treated this way ever. She did not even apologize and continued to be upset/unhappy/RUDE. She definitely has not been trained in customer service. Just so terrible!

  I believe not only in a good product but also a good customer service. I came to the store to show the manager there is a glitch in their system. I bought a pair of tennis shoes and when I press the circle choosing green, it changes the show black. Sadly I didn't noticed this when I bought the shoes. I drove 20 miles to request a change of color and he was so unflexsible. His answer was look at what you purchased before you pay. Thankfully I used pay-pal and they will fix the problem. Horrible customer service! In time like this when we are actually trying to support his store.

  Customer service here is phenomenal! Jenny went above and beyond in terms of helping me today. She spent hours trying to figure out why the system wouldn’t take my gift card but in the end her perseverance won and somehow she got the transaction to work. I truly have never experienced such dedication from an employee anywhere and I will definitely be coming back here. Thanks Jenny!!

  Madewell has a nice collection of basics, tee shirts, sweaters, boots, jackets and a ton of denim. You can find many gift options for your friends and family here. There is also denim recycling, hemming, one-on-one styling and online order pickup at this location.
