  I had a really unpleasant experience at this store last week. I usually prefer this location over the ones in Daly City and Palo Alto, but this visit completely changed my mind. The manager who was ringing me up at the register was extremely dry and dismissive, and even made a few inappropriate jokes that made me uncomfortable. On top of that, she didn’t even offer me a bag for my purchase. All my family members have Nordstrom credit cards, and I was planning on getting one myself, but after this experience, I’ve completely changed my mind. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I won’t be coming back to this location.

  I’ve always enjoyed shopping at this location because it’s convenient close to my other favorite stores, and the employees are always helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately yesterday’s visit was very different. While I was shopping I witnessed what appeared to be a manager a tall brown hair yelling and speaking harshly to employees. Her tone and behavior created a tense awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere that completely changed the shopping experience. It was upsetting to see such unprofessional treatment toward the staff since they were always so helpful in my previous shopping visits. I hope this can be addressed so customers and employees alike can continue to feel comfortable in the store.

  This is a great spot for finding high-quality brands at discounted prices. We visited during a shopping day and found good deals on shoes, clothing, and accessories for the whole family. The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Tip: Check the clearance sections near the back for the best bargains, and go earlier in the day for a more relaxed shopping experience. Inventory changes often, so it’s worth stopping by regularly. A solid choice for brand-name shopping without the full price tag.

  I was extremely happy when I found out that a Nordstrom Rack had opened near my home. I have always loved shopping at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. Yesterday was my seventh time shopping at the Foster City, CA location, but the staff was very unprofessional and rude during checkout. I even felt like the cashier was DISCRIMINATING against me (I really hope she wasn’t). First, she didn’t ask me to enter my phone number and just told me the total amount to pay. She didn’t even ask if I needed a bag. When I told her I needed to enter my phone number to earn membership points, she restarted the checkout process. The whole time, she kept chatting with another staff member. After completing the transaction, she simply placed the receipt on the counter without saying a word and walked away. I was SHOCKED and stood there at the checkout counter. She had already walked about six or seven meters away the counter when she noticed I hadn’t left. She then turned around and said： “You’re all set.” WHAT?! This was a terrible experience. My first instinct was to find a manager and file a complaint, but since I was with my 18-month-old baby, I decided not to and just left. I couldn’t sleep all night because of this—it left a shadow over me, and I’m extremely disappointed in this store. I think I will remember this awful experience forever. I feel SICK.

  This Nordstrom Rack had its grand opening today. It is immaculate inside with loads of choices and great bargains.
