On December 11, 2023, the people who worked there as security tackled someone to the ground, outside of the “Nordstrom” store - even though this was in the indoor mall area. I’ve noticed that there have been at least 3 people - and probably more people - who have been harassed by kops and security guards around Hillsdale mall. If any racial profiling happens, a safe(r) person to look for might be William debruce - he is a brown skinned pasifik islander person and is probably more likely to de-escalate a situation (instead of tackling someone to the ground).

It might not always be packed here but the benefit is that the staff and store become a lot more pleasant when you need to be in store. Thanks everyone!
