I finally figured out that they use lesser lines in the Rack stores and leverage teh Nordstrom name as if these items were once in rotation at the full-on Nordstroms. It is a scam. The tags - and the deals - are as good at Marshall's.

The girl at the front with slicked back pink hair and a pearl hair band (no name tag- for good reason) was moving at the speed of molasses. I wanted to scream. She was telling her whole life story to the poor people checking out, while the rest of us in line just stared at her. I got out of line to ask another employee in a white hoodie who was straightening clothes if he could help me just grab an order I’d already paid for, and he said I had to wait in line. For the one extremely slooooooow cashier. Beyond frustrating. She finally helped me, but couldn’t get her phone to work. So I just stood there while she fiddled with it, for another 5 minutes. I don’t get it. I’ve worked retail. This was just…. Ridiculous.
