  I absolutely love shopping at Nordstrom at Westfield Valley Fair in San Jose! This store consistently offers an outstanding selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories that makes every visit feel like a treat. Recently, I stopped by the jewelry department and was completely blown away. The selection is huge and truly exquisite, with beautiful pieces from top designers that you just don’t see everywhere. What made the experience even better was Molly — she was fantastic! From the moment I walked up, she made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. We quickly built a wonderful rapport, chatting about life, sharing a few laughs and stories during my return and exchange. Afterward, Molly took the time to walk me over to the designer jewelry cases. She shared thoughtful insights about the different designers, their inspiration, and the craftsmanship behind each piece. Her passion and knowledge turned a simple shopping errand into something genuinely enjoyable and inspiring. Thanks to Molly, she’s completely converted me. I used to buy jewelry online maybe once a year with little excitement. Now? I’m excited to come into the store, see her for fresh ideas, and browse in person. The entire jewelry department is so well laid out and inviting — elegant displays that make you want to linger and dream about your next piece. I even snapped photos of several stunning items I’m planning to come back for later in 2026. And as a bonus, the parking garage always has plenty of convenient spots, so the whole experience is hassle-free from start to finish. If you’re in the Bay Area and looking for a luxurious yet welcoming shopping experience, do yourself a favor and visit Nordstrom at Valley Fair — and be sure to say hi to Molly in jewelry if she’s there. She’s a gem!

  On Sunday approximately 7PM, I encountered the La Prarie makeup counter by a tall Asian man who had a three piece casual wool outfit and was embarrassingly sweating. I tried to be nice and ignore his stench. But he smelled bad! When I asked for a shade he said he was going to the check “the back” where he should have freshened up! Of course he didn’t!! Omg and then when I went to purchase/exchange a foundation he ran he took off to someone else who came walking towards me with so much might that I felt a makeup police presence then when she started saying she has la prairie and it doesn’t look like this she said she could not take it back like the mistress to the wife telling me to move on when yh my life! Omg I was so scared I asked for a “manager” who was this 12 year old girl telling me she supports her team and that she won’t go against the grain because she has 12 years experience in makeup???? My kids and I were bewildered! Even my 11 year old said they should have just given you the exchange!!! My kids are smarter than the combination of these people who claim to be above it but yet suck at their which is customer service not customer humiliation!!!! I was able to go to Nordström Hillsdale Mall where the cosmetic staff was perfect and lovely the experience was heavenly. I was able to get my travel stuff and more!

  If I could leave no stars I would, I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Nordstrom, specifically the YSL store inside Nordstrom at Valley Fair. I returned a YSL bag that cost $1,011.72 back in December 2025, and since then I have received absolutely no updates. When I checked my account in the Nordstrom app, there was no record of my return and it prompted me to start a return all over again, with no tracking information and no visibility into where my item is. Customer support has been horrible. I have spoken to multiple representatives and have been passed from one person to another with no resolution. Every time I call, I am told someone will follow up, but no one ever does. I even spoke directly with a manager at the YSL store inside Nordstrom who told me he would provide an update, and I never heard back from him. At this point, it honestly feels like my item was taken from me. This entire process has been extremely frustrating and a complete waste of my time. I am planning to file a complaint with the BBB because this situation is unacceptable. Nordstrom has completely lost my trust as a customer. I truly thought they valued their customers, but this experience has proven otherwise. I will not be shopping here again, and I would strongly recommend staying away from the YSL store at Nordstrom Valley Fair.
